I understand, no problems with that, but I'd advise you at least put the name of the Daviant on the corner of the pic or something like that. It would be great if people knew who drew it in order to find more images.

I know you're not the first, but it would be nice and polite to avoid it whenever possible, right? Just because others do it doesn't mean it's okay foy anyone to do it as well.

Anyway, I was just pointing something out, that's all.

The difference is that a webcam is a public image displayed for the lulz that does not require a given source. DeviantART states you can use any image for your webcam as long as it's not hotlinked from DeviantART itself. And believe me, I'm neither the first or the last to use an uncited image as a webcam.

Sorry, I don't want to to be nosy, but it looks like you had some trouble with a stolen Icon with ~xXxEmoxRainbowxXx and you are absolutely right to ask her to remove something that was originally yours, but you just did the same thing. If this webcam wasn't draw by you then you shouldn't upload it just because you found it on the internet.

The point you're missing is that regardless of where she got the icon, was created an belongs to me. Anyone can upload things to Photobucket, but they shouldn't use it without permission. :/ She removed it, and I no longer have a problem. And I suggest you stop getting so worked up.
